| Description of the problem | Takata recall my car has been under recall for the passenger and driver side airbags for over 2 years now. I live in texas which is in zone a of the recall and according to a diagram that mercedes sent us with the recall letter, the time the inflator is expected to rupture is in 6-9 years. This car is currently 8 years old which would put it at extreme risk and mercedes still does not have a fix for this. They also refuse to offer a loaner car. They recently stated that a replacement would be available in last june of 2018 however they have now delayed that again to december 2018. |
